Delta Sector Mod: Playable Demo

Today Platinum Gold and AlligatorJack have released a playable level of the Delta Sector Mod, something alot of people have been waiting for. At the moment, it's only the first mission playable. But the mod contains all the content of the full mod version already. (So if you wanna create a map, feel free to create one)

1. MISSION
You begin on a little river near a small house. You have to kill some soldiers there as in the whole level. You have to cross a forest and you can drive with a small boat in this level later. But your main target is to storm a castle, where you have to capture an alien artifact.

All the missions will be available in the next release.

well this is a fantasic mod.

When i started to mod farcry i was always disapointed with the quality of the mods being made. even though farcry has an editing system which no other games company has even come close to it never tempted the hardcore modders away from using doom and halflife 2 for there mods. i think this was because the would look at the poor quality of mods that came out using farcry and just assumed that farcry was not as good as as half life.

its a shame that there arnt more hardcore modders like platinum and alligator jack proving that farcry is still one of the most powerfull game engines.

I think they also expose cryteks real secret that crysis and farcry engines are more alike than you think

Well done guys, there is a real skill to moding farcry. any old fool can make a crysis mod look good. but to get that quality from farcry is amazing. Big Grin

Wow the first time I took the crysis cd out and put farcry in Big Grin

BTW about the trees, i did a successful import in the CE2 crysis engine, and it looks good.
Are you considering make a pack for the CE2.
Ps can i show pic, video of the port as they are your work after all
